Effective and last reviewed: 17 August 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to ITResidency.ge, its publications, comparisons, eligibility tools and enquiry forms. They do not replace a signed professional engagement with ASSIO LEX & ASSOCIATES LLC.
1. Operator, acceptance and authority
ITResidency.ge is owned and operated by ASSIO LEX & ASSOCIATES LLC, a company registered in Georgia under company identification number 400470566. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that company and “website” includes the pages, forms, tools and materials made available under the ITResidency.ge domain.
By accessing or using the website, the user agrees to these terms and the policies incorporated by reference. A person using the website for a company or another individual confirms that they have authority to act for that person. If the user does not agree, the website should not be used. A user must have legal capacity to accept these terms; a minor may use an enquiry service only through a parent or legal representative.
2. General information, not a case-specific opinion
The website provides general information about Georgian immigration, employment, tax, corporate, innovation and relocation matters. It is intended to help a reader identify relevant questions and decide whether to seek advice. Website content, automated comparisons and preliminary eligibility results are not legal, tax, accounting, investment or immigration advice and must not be treated as a substitute for a written recommendation based on the complete facts.
Law, administrative practice, official forms, fees, exchange rates and processing times may change. A published date or source reference does not remove the need to verify the rule in force and the evidence required at the time of a filing or transaction. Examples are illustrative and may not produce the same result in another case.
3. No professional engagement through website use alone
Browsing the website, downloading or reading a guide, sending an email or form, receiving a case reference, preliminary route, checklist, fee indication or initial reply does not by itself create a lawyer-client, accountant-client, fiduciary or other professional relationship. It does not oblige us to accept a matter, make a filing, protect a deadline or take any step on the user's behalf.
A professional engagement begins only when ASSIO LEX & ASSOCIATES LLC has completed any necessary identity, authority and conflict checks, confirmed the scope, responsibilities and fees, and accepted the matter through a separate written engagement or other express written confirmation. If an engagement is accepted, its terms prevail over these website terms for the professional services concerned.
4. Enquiries, confidentiality and conflicts
Personal data submitted through the website is handled under the Privacy Policy. Nevertheless, a website submission made before an engagement and conflict check should not be assumed to create legal professional privilege, professional secrecy or a duty to act. At the initial enquiry stage, users should provide enough information for us to understand the request but should avoid sending unnecessary highly sensitive material, trade secrets or documents belonging to another person.
We may decline an enquiry without giving a detailed reason, including where there is a conflict, capacity constraint, legal restriction or the request is outside our services. We may retain the minimum information reasonably necessary to record a conflict, refusal, consent or legal obligation in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
5. User responsibilities and permitted use
The website may be used for lawful personal or internal business evaluation. A user submitting information confirms, to the best of their knowledge, that it is accurate, not misleading and supplied with the necessary authority. The user remains responsible for reviewing facts, correcting errors and telling us about relevant changes.
A user must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, introduce malicious code, submit unlawful or infringing material, impersonate another person, harvest personal data, use automated means that impose an unreasonable load, or use website content to misrepresent our advice or endorsement. We may restrict access or reject submissions reasonably believed to breach these terms or present a security or legal risk.
6. Intellectual property
The website design, original text, selection and arrangement of materials, graphics, trade names, logos and other original content are owned by or licensed to ASSIO LEX & ASSOCIATES LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Official legislative text and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Subject to these terms, we grant the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to view the public pages and make a reasonable copy for personal use or internal evaluation. The user may link to a public page and quote a short extract with accurate attribution. No material may be republished as a competing guide, sold, systematically scraped, modified to imply authorship, used to train or populate a commercial content service, or reproduced at scale without prior written permission.
7. Third-party services and links
The website may refer to legislation, authorities, banks, platforms or other third-party services. A reference or link is provided for convenience or context and is not a warranty, endorsement or representation that the third-party material is complete, available or suitable for a particular user. Third-party sites and services operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or security.
8. Availability, changes and errors
We aim to keep the website useful, secure and reasonably current, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or that every publication will remain current between reviews. We may correct, replace, suspend or remove content, tools or functionality without prior notice. If a user identifies a material error, we welcome a prompt notice at the contact address below.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its public information are supplied on an “as available” basis. We do not give an implied warranty that a person qualifies for a permit or status, that an authority will accept an application, that a bank or other provider will approve a service, or that a stated tax outcome applies without analysis of the actual activity, source, documents and effective law.
Nothing in these terms limits an express obligation undertaken in a separate professional engagement or a right or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASSIO LEX & ASSOCIATES LLC is not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information before a case-specific written engagement, from an unavailable or delayed website, from inaccurate information supplied by a user, or from a third-party site or service outside our control. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss arising from website use where such exclusion is lawful.
These limitations do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, liability that cannot legally be limited, or professional liability arising under an accepted engagement to the extent governed by that engagement and applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights, where applicable, remain unaffected.
11. Privacy and cookies
Personal data is processed under the Privacy Policy. Browser storage and consent choices are described in the Cookie Policy. Those policies form part of the website's legal information and should be read before submitting personal data or documents.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms and non-contractual matters arising from use of the website are governed by the laws of Georgia. The parties should first try in good faith to resolve a concern by written notice. Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, the courts of Georgia have jurisdiction, with venue in Tbilisi where the applicable procedural law permits.
13. General provisions
We may amend these terms to reflect legal, technical or service changes. The version published on this page applies from the effective date shown above; material changes do not retrospectively alter an accepted professional engagement. If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it is limited or severed only to the extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. The user may not assign rights under these terms without our written consent. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the agreement governing use of the public website, but not any separate professional service.
