One roadmap for the Georgian decisions that affect one another
Independent IT professionals, founders, employers and international teams that want one Georgian team to coordinate the decisions and filings that affect one another.
- written route and action plan
- residence and right-to-work sequence
- IE, company and tax structure
- documents, translations and filings
- banking, family, payroll and deadlines
How this can work for you
Business Guide gives you one case-specific plan for living and working in Georgia: the recommended residence and work route, the right IE or company structure, the tax and banking steps, the documents to prepare and the order in which to act.
The initial roadmap and later implementation are scoped separately. Your proposal states what is included, what our team prepares and which government, bank, translation, audit or other third-party costs remain separate.
Your residence, work, tax and company choices affect one another
Business Guide is a coordinated advisory and implementation service. We start with the people, work, customers, income, company and target date, then identify which Georgian steps are genuinely needed and the order in which they should happen.
The result is not a generic relocation report. You receive a case-specific route, a responsibility list and a timetable that separates what you provide, what our team prepares and what comes from an authority, bank, auditor or translator.
- Residence and lawful-stay route for each person
- Right-to-work or current exemption analysis
- IE, company and realistic tax-status comparison
- Banking, contracts, accounting and payroll workstreams
- Spouse, child and team relocation dependencies
A written roadmap you can use to make and implement the decision
The agreed scope normally records the recommended route, alternatives that were rejected, open evidence points, filing order, responsibilities, likely government or third-party steps and the next decision date.
- A concise recommendation based on the actual work and business model
- A document plan that avoids premature translation or legalisation
- A phased timetable for registrations, applications and arrivals
- A professional-fee scope and separately identified third-party costs
- An operating and renewal calendar after the initial setup
Use one coordinated plan when several Georgian steps must work together
A focused application is often enough where the legal route is already clear. Business Guide is most useful when a decision in one workstream will change another.
- A contractor comparing foreign employment, Georgian IE and company routes
- A founder combining company formation with personal work and residence
- An employer relocating several employees and families
- An existing Georgian business correcting tax, payroll or immigration gaps
- A family that needs the principal and dependant timetable planned together
What to send us first
For the first review, send the facts that define the project. You do not need to choose a legal route, draft a plan or order certified documents before we have identified the realistic sequence.
Send us first
- Passport, nationality, current location and target date for each person
- Plain-language employment, contracting or business model
- Existing contracts, Georgian registrations and company information
- Approximate personal income, company turnover, team and payroll
- Spouse, child or dependant details
- The decisions or deadlines that are creating uncertainty
We prepare or coordinate
- Compare residence, work, IE, company and tax routes
- Prepare the written recommendation and dependency map
- Separate client, team, authority and third-party responsibilities
- Issue a tailored document, translation and filing plan
- Propose the implementation and ongoing-compliance scope
Obtained or confirmed later
- Apostilled/legalised and certified Georgian documents selected for a filing
- Authority extracts, decisions and residence cards
- Bank-specific KYC or interview materials
- Audit, assurance or special-status evidence
- Monthly accounting, payroll and renewal records
How the work usually proceeds
The exact order depends on the service and your documents. We confirm the steps and responsibilities before professional work begins.
- 01
send the key personal, work, company and family facts
- 02
review the realistic residence, work, tax and entity routes
- 03
receive a written roadmap, responsibility list and fee scope
- 04
prepare and complete the agreed registrations and applications
- 05
handover the operating and renewal calendar
How this may look in a real case
A software developer moving with a spouse receives one phased plan covering Georgian IE and Small Business registration, the work-right position, IT Residence Permit evidence, family reunification documents, bank preparation and monthly compliance.
What can slow the process down
We check these points at the beginning and flag gaps before filing, so you can correct them while there is still time.
- A target date is fixed before lawful stay, work permission and document timing are checked.
- An IE or company is registered before the real activity, client flow and tax treatment are compared.
- Different advisers receive different versions of the contract, role, income or family facts.
- Foreign documents are apostilled or translated before the route and relevant evidence are confirmed.
- Banking, accounting, payroll or family dependencies are left until after the principal filing.
A clear recommendation and a managed Georgian process
We turn your personal, professional, company and family facts into one written Georgian roadmap, then manage the agreed filings and operating setup in the order the case requires.
ITResidency.ge is operated by ASSIO LEX & ASSOCIATES LLC, the Georgian legal and business-services provider for the engagement.

Frequently asked questions
What is the ITResidency.ge Business Guide service?
It is a case-specific planning and implementation service for people or companies whose Georgian residence, work, tax, company, banking or family steps affect one another. You receive a recommended route, document plan, filing order, responsibility list and fee scope rather than a generic report.
Is Business Guide only for people applying for the IT Residence Permit?
No. It can be used by a remote professional comparing an IE and company, a founder opening a Georgian entity, an employer moving a team, a family coordinating linked applications or an existing Georgian business correcting its setup.
Can I ask for one specific service instead?
Yes. If the route is already clear, a focused residence, work-right, company, family, tax or accounting instruction may be more proportionate. We recommend Business Guide when several workstreams or timing decisions genuinely depend on one another.
What do I receive after the Business Guide review?
The agreed deliverable normally states the recommended route, key assumptions, document gaps, responsible person for each step, filing order, target timetable and proposed professional scope. It also identifies government and third-party steps that are not included unless expressly agreed.
Does the fee include every registration and application?
Not automatically. The proposal separates advisory work, registrations, applications and recurring services. Government fees, translations, apostille or legalisation, audit, assurance, banking and other third-party costs are identified separately where relevant.
Can Business Guide be completed remotely?
The review, planning and much of the document work can usually be handled remotely. A specific signing, authority, bank, interview, biometric or residence-card step may require personal presence. We identify that before the timetable is agreed.
What should I send first?
Send the passports and nationalities involved, current location and lawful-stay position, target date, work or business model, contracts or company information already available, approximate income or turnover and the family or team scope. Non-essential documents can follow later.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
You receive a confirmation and case reference. We review the information, ask for essential clarification if needed and propose the appropriate assessment or service scope and professional fee. No professional engagement begins until the scope and terms are agreed.
